What is "Sumthin' Different?

​

​SD is a two day conference that will be filled with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, worship music and a time of fellowship you definitely won't forget.
​
Day One of the conference is dedicated as a time of deliverance, specifically designed to let all generations know Jesus has forgiven them and wants to be their Lord. (Galatians 2:20) 
​
Day Two of the conference is a where we hop in a proverbial time machine and travel back to the nineties. To the conference hosts, the nineties were a time where they fell in love with Jesus as youth. Guests will be encouraged to wear 90's style clothing, the time of praise and worship will be full of songs lifted from the 90's Gospel Charts, but the preached word will remain Jesus-focused, as always.

Be prepared to take pictures in front on the custom backdrop, worship our King as bold as you can and meet people who share the Faith! After the Service on Day 2, everyone will be welcomed to our "Throwback" House Party. For only $5.00 – you will be welcomed to Food, Music and Fellowship, while some of the area's finest vendors will have some amazing products available for your shopping pleasure.

Why should you attend?
​
Simply put, there is a need for inter-generational worship and appreciation for our similarities and differences. In the current social climate, many people are "dissing" those that have traits different from their own (race, age, socioeconomic status, upbringing, etc.) - even those that profess Christ. The hosts of this event spoke about this at length throughout the years, preached about it throughout the area and now it’s time put to those words into action. We are going to show the world that one generation will speak to another (Psalms 145:4). Again, while tailored to draw youth and young adults - it is necessary that we represent the kingdom and exhibit to everyone that we all enjoy Christ together!
